Resident Evil Code: Veronica for Dreamcast and PS2 - Screenshot comparison

Like MDK2, Resident Evil: CV was a 1st generation Dreamcast title released in February of 2000. It is the first Resident Evil to feature fully 3D environments. This was a move away from the still screens of the previous three games on the PS1 and Dreamcast. The game's graphics were applauded, and certainly maintained themselves throughout the generation, since newer survival horror games and RPGs on the PS2, such as Onimusha and Final Fantasy X, still preferred still backgrounds shots to fully 3D environments. Resident Evil: CV is yet another example of an early Dreamcast title ported to the PS2 over a year later, with no significant loss or improvements made to the game's graphics.
