In Summer of 1988 I walked into a general purpose electronics store called the Federated Group of San Antonio with 100 individual dollar bills in my wallet from the lawn mowing job I had begun working for this very purpose. My dad was kind enough to pick up the slack and buy me a joystick and the actual games I would need to enjoy the purchase.
