All PS game shots are done off a PS2 with default PS1 settings for maximum image
quality, all movie files are taken from an S-Video connection from a late model
PS1 and 1995 model Saturn. Grandia was originally designed for the Sega Saturn.
The game runs at nearly twice the framerate and features larger texturemaps
in the Saturn version, while the PS1 game features more translucent special
effects, smaller textures and (bad) English voice acting. Anything done in 2D
on the Saturn was done as a flat 3D object in the PS1 game, and as a result
loses some effects of the Saturn original, such as the reflective water at the
Pier. The PS1 version is also missing the building shadows from the Saturn original.
