This is a picture of a Nintendo print ad campaign against Sega's Blast Processing Television ad campaign. It is designed to look like a regular magazine article, and focuses heavily on the Genesis not having any kind of special chip called the "blast processor" or a special chip that produces "blast processing".

Even today you will occasionally hear game mag reviewers or game fans on Usenet or in forums say that Sega lied about blast processing, or that Sega claimed that there was a special chip within the Genesis. As the Blast processing TV commercial listed below clearly shows, Sega only said that the Genesis "has blast processing", which they even admitted was just a marketing buzz word. Nothing from Sega ever claimed there was a special chip in the Genesis that was called or produced "blast processing". Furthermore, it was Nintendo that created the notion that Sega said or implied such a thing at all.
